What do Child and Family Health services offer?

Welcoming a newborn baby is a very exciting time for families. It brings with it a plethora of new experiences and learning opportunities, such as understanding the baby’s sleep and feeding patterns, scheduling baby health checks, managing immunisations, monitoring baby movement, and much more. Child and Family Health Nurses (CFHN) are available to provide guidance and assistance to support families throughout this journey, following the birth of their child until five years of age. 

CFHN Services provided by Hunter New England Local Health District are free.
