Be right back - Gone adventuring!!
A scavenger hunt is a fun and engaging way to encourage children to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors. Whether exploring your service’s outdoor area or going for a nature walk in the community, this activity promotes physical activity while supporting key developmental skills.
Children can practice letter recognition, counting, and fine motor skills as they tick off items on their list, while also building language and communication as they talk about what they see and experience in the world around them.
Click the image to download a copy of the scavenger hunt, then head outside with the children and try to spot as many different insects and plants as you can.
